You’re invited to celebrate with us the most prestigious awards night honoring citizens from Maui’s Filipino community on the upcoming Gintong Pamana Leadership & Scholarship Awards. This signature event returns at the Maui Beach Hotel on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. with dinner, entertainment and a night of inspiration.

Since 1995, the Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce has honored and paid tribute to leaders of our community with outstanding achievement in the areas of public service, music & arts, medicine, law, education, community service and more. We are now accepting nominations to deserving, yet sometimes, unsung heroes who gave unselfishly of their time, talents and treasures to our island home.

This year, the theme Galing at Giting (Excellence and Courage) celebrates our leaders who have risen above adversity and have embodied hope – leaders who shine their light amidst today’s grim headlines. On this same evening, the Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce Foundation will award scholarships at $1,000 each to select High School seniors and $1,000 to a recipient from Maui Culinary Academy at the University of Hawaii Maui College. This is a memorable gathering you don’t want to miss and a rare occasion to wear your barong or to strut your dazzling Filipiana attire.
